- GEMINI -

MAY 21 - JUNE 21

ELEMENT: AIR

Gemini lies in the second square of the northern sky. The Gemini are inseparable in a host of other constellations. These include Taurus (bull), Cancer (cancer), Auriga (carter), Canis Minor (small dog), Monoceros (unicorn) and Lynx (lynx).

The image represents the twins Castor and Polydeuces in Greek mythology.

The brightest stars, Pollux and Castor, symbolize the heads of the twins. Pollox, Beta Geminorum is the brightest star and is an orange giant, also known as 'the head of the second twin'. Castor, Alpha Geminorum, on the other hand, is a visual double star.
